Purpose

Through inclusive and active academic activities, we aim to contribute to the creation of a more peaceful, happy, and prosperous society where everyone can play an active role, regardless of culture, nationality, race, language, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability.



TMS Code of Conduct (TMS Code)

The following principles constitute the ethical guidelines that participants of Transcultural Management Society (TMS) should respect, ensuring an environment of integrity, respect, and productive scholarly exchange.

1. Mutual Respect
All participants must respect each other regardless of academic status, field of expertise, nationality, or background.
Differences in opinions and perspectives should be welcomed as opportunities for learning and growth.

2. Ethical Communication
Engage in discussions and debates with honesty and consistency.
Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior, whether verbal, written, or non-verbal.
Maintain confidentiality when discussing unpublished research or sensitive information.

3. Responsibility to Academia
Strive for intellectual rigor and fairness when presenting research findings or engaging with others¡Ç work.
Properly acknowledge the contributions of others and adhere to the highest standards of citation and attribution.

4. Free Exchange of Ideas
Foster an inclusive environment where all participants are encouraged to share their insights and contributions.
Recognize that diverse perspectives are essential for the advancement of knowledge.

5. Professional Conduct
Comply with the instructions and guidelines of the conference organizers.
Refrain from behaviors that disrupt sessions or hinder the engagement of other participants.

6. Constructive Feedback
Provide feedback on others¡Ç work in a constructive, supportive, and collaborative manner.
Focus on ideas and discussions rather than personal attributes.

7. Respect for Time and Effort
Attend sessions punctually and engage actively.
Adhere to allocated time slots for presentations and discussions to ensure fair participation.

8. Cooperation with the Organizing Committee
Minimize the burden on the organizing committee and contribute to the smooth operation of the conference.
Follow procedural guidelines, provide necessary information promptly, and respect administrative schedules.

9. Support for Early-Career and Next-Generation Researchers
Encourage the active participation and development of early-career and next-generation researchers.
Promote their growth through feedback and mentorship, fostering their contributions to the academic community.

By adhering to this TMS Code, all participants contribute to the success of the Society as a venue for academic excellence, mutual learning, and professional growth.
