The symposium commemorating the establishment of the Diversity & Governance Session (D&G Session) was successfully held on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
We'd like to express our sincere gratitude to all the members of the society for making the symposium a great success. We had many attendees as well as guests who were introduced by our members, and it was a very fruitful symposium. Thank you very much.
The keynote speech by Ms. Takayo Hasegawa, President of Showa Denko Holdings, was truly impressive. She has steadily increased corporate value while striving to develop diversity and reform governance. The presentations by Mr. Seiichi Tominaga, Executive Director of the Japan Corporate Governance Network, and Ms. Yoshiko Shibasaka, Partner at KPMG Sustainable Value Japan and KPMG AZSA & Co. were also very informative.
We have already received requests for future presentations and topics to be covered at the time of pre-registration and post-event questionnaires. We will continue to plan future events to meet the expectations of our members, and we look forward to your active participation in the future. For those of you who were not able to attend this conference, we look forward to seeing you at our future next session.
